Lucy Millington graduated from The University of Birmingham with an Integrated Master’s degree in Physics, specialising in Nuclear Physics. She then joined the graduate scheme at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) as an Applied Scientist. Lucy has worked in multiple different teams within physics throughout the scheme and is now working as a Technical Advisor to an Executive Director. Whilst researching nuclear treaties and policies she gained an interest in the Iran Nuclear Deal, leading to her UK PONI research topic focusing on the JCPOA.
